market days

I'm a big believer in eating healthy and there for feeling better in your skin. Often my mum and I go to the friday markets after work, and buy our veggies and fruit at the Subiaco farmers market. The produce always looks fresh, and at least that way you also know that the produce you buy is locally grown. Where's buying from a supermarket often the fruit and vegetables you buy have been frozen for god knows how long before they actually reach the shelved and are sold.

I have also found that having started buying your vegetables and fruits at the markets, the taste is a lot more sweeter and juicer and also fresher. Sometimes even for the half of the price that you buy at your local super market.

What have been your experiences with buying from your local super market or farmers market?

I much prefer to buy my fruits + veggies at local farmer's markets. I agree-they are sweeter, juicier, and much more fresh. I definitely find that they are cheaper too! It feels good to buy something that is good for your health, but that is also helping your local community. I usually map out all of my meals for the week, then on Sunday morning head to the farmer's market and buy all of the fruits and veggies I'll need! I love your blog! xx
