Mason jars.

Lately I have seen a lot of mason jars floating around places. I've always liked the rustic kind of look of things and I thought that it was a very affordable and (depending on what you use it for) elegant romantic feel to cozy up the place.

Now i know jars can get quite expensive when you buy them from a homeward shop, but I know that at least everyone has some form of jars weather it be jam jars, or pickle jars or whatever, once you've used them, just place them in some bleach water to clean it thoroughly and take the labels of and viola!

I hope this post has given you some ideas and inspiration like it has given me :)

DIY chalk boards

Image taken from Pinterest

Feeling a little creative today, but you don't really know what to do? Why not try this cheap, affordable and easy DIY project. Just buy a really cheap and quirky photo frame and simply buy some chalk paint to paint in the middle and voila! You have your very own home made one of a kind chalkboards.

I just finished my first semester at tafe, its been a rough couple of months, but i have enjoyed it and it was interesting after having a year off of working and traveling to get back into the habit of studying. Now to enjoy five weeks off, before getting back behind the camera and in front of my computer finishing off assessments and making powerpoints. I'll try and attempt to write more blog posts over the next coming weeks and actually trying out some of these DIY projects myself. I'm sure these next coming weeks are going to go by fast.

Hello there! So last year while I was on my gap year I attempted to make a blog about my travels and what I would get up to. Unfortunately that didn't turn out to well, as I didn't always have internet connections and I was to preoccupied with discovering new places and admiring the new city and cultures that I haven't been to before. Anyway, enough about that. So now I'll try a different approach. They say its christmas in July (even though its june at the moment) in Australia, because of the colder weather. So taking that in mind, I am going to make a mid years resolution.

So my mid years resolution will be:

•Take more photographs, especially for photography class.

•Don't start assignments at the last minute but actually take time to stress less.

• Which takes me to point three. Try and stress less

•When I don't have classes on try some DIY projects and post them.

•Who knows even make some youtube videos

•Write inspiration posts

Lets see what happens in the next 6 months and hopefully you guys like it! :)
