Hey guys!

So It's been a little while since I made my last video. Truth be told, this little project is a little more difficult then I had anticipated. However, every time I do manage to finish it, I feel I have accomplished just that little bit more!

I'm not the most out spoken or out there person, however with each video that I make I feel my confidence in myself slowly blooming. (Talking to a camera isn't as easy as you may think!) What kind of things do you guys like to do to in aid to your self confidence?

Anywho I'll stop rambling now. I hope you enjoy my video and let me know what you think! :)

Hand food

Working in the office and being in constant air con really does leave the skin dry and irritated. Especially my hands. When looking around for moisturises I always try to find something thats not too buttery and also something that doesn't require you to apply moisturiser to the hands constantly because its just not moisturising enough. Now I know what you are thinking, gosh she is picky, but honestly who likes having to wait ten minutes before it doesn't feel to sticky on the hands or alternatively having to constantly apply moisturiser to the hands because it just simply doesn't moisturise enough. Yeah me neither.

So much to my joy when I looked around and stumbled along the glorious Kit (which is a cosmetics shop) and goggled around the soap and glory section I instantly picked up the hand food and tried it. The first thing that instantly grabbed my attention is the overly delicious scent. It's not to sweet and it instantly reminded me of the delicious berry smoothy that I had at a cafe near the beach. So of course I popped some on my hands and was incredibly happy when my hands turned out smelling beautifully and moisturised, not leaving that buttery thick feeling on your hands.

All in all i'm definitely happy with this purchase and like seen in the pictures I have opted for the small travel size so that I can just pop it in my bag and take it with me, but I may go back and buy the larger size just for home as well, because well... why not??

I hope you'd enjoyed reading this post, let me know what types of moisturisers you guys like to use :)

Autumn scents

Slowly Autumn is creeping it's way into the much awaited Australian air. While the sun is still shining strongly, the autumn breeze is definitely sending a slight chill up your spine. As much as I love warm summer days, I cannot tell you how cheerful it made me that for the first in many long awaited nights, I have been able to sleep a lot more peacefully from not having to wake up  from the warm summer air. So on top of that I can finely (that is if the weather doesn't randomly decide to warm up again) start cozying up in warm wooly jumpers while sitting reading a book and sipping on  a nice warm cup of tea, with deliciously scented candles.

Glasshouse candles, are definitely one of my favourite candles here in Australia. They have a range of deliciously scented candles and to get me in the spirit I couldn't help myself, but to pick up the "little black dress" scented candle which I previously haven't seen before in their range. The scent of it makes me a little bit nostalgic as it reminds me a little bit of liquorice. One of my favourite lollies from back when I used to live in Hollands, so of course i couldn't help myself and I definitely had to get it.

Usually I'm not a bit fan of the ikea candles, but this particular candle that I bought reminds me of the  tea scent that you get from fruits of the forrest tea. Now this particular candle is quite sweet so I wouldn't burn it all day, but it does make your house smell deliciously like fruits and who doesn't like a fruity home?

What kind of candles do you like to buy??

Tea time

With the hot weather still being in full swing, I always find it nice to cool down with a hot beverage. Warming up my body so that the outdoors temperature doesn't seem to feel so hot anymore.
One of my favourite drinks I like to consume during the summer months has definitely have to be fresh mint tea. Just simply by just plucking some fresh mint leaves from the garden and pouring some hot water over it and letting it soak for about 5 minutes. Then depending on how strong the flavour is I tend to add a teaspoon of honey, and indulge in my yummy herbal beverage!

What kind of beverages do you like to drink during the summer?
