Zara

With much anticipated wait, a Zara store has finally opened in the Perth suburbs, with a two storey Zara store soon to be followed in the Perth CBD. Previously I always had to admire and ogle at the clothes online, wishing I could get my hands on a certain piece. Or wait till my next planned europe trip. However finally with a lot of patience I no longer have to admire from afar. I can actually get my hands on them. What I love about Zara is that it's not extremely over priced for the quality of clothing they bring out. The best possible material is always chosen and the clothing last for a really good amount of time.

A couple of weeks back when I found out the store had opened I knew I had to immediately go and visit, even if it meant taking an hour and a  bit of a car journey to get there. (Waiting for the city store to open was just not on)

Much to my disappointment I couldn't really photograph the layout of the store or the types of clothing on the racks as of right now, due to the swarm of people in the shop. You literally had to squeeze your way through to get somewhere.
The Line for the changing rooms was also about a forty-five minute wait, but you know. It was all worth it. I gained some wonderful clothing items out of it, and it just comes to show that european clothing brand was a much needed addition to our retailers out there. There is going to be some competition going on for sure.

Alas, let me share with you some of the pieces I was able to snatch up.
I definitely cannot wait to come back again (maybe when the hype had died down a little)

What's in my bag

Hey guys,

Today has been one of those really rare days, where I have been super productive and ended up filming a video along with many other things. I haven't really had much inspiration for videos, but that fortunately hasn't stopped me from at least giving it a go. I'm still striving to get at least 2-3 video's up at least once a month.

So that leaves me with one question, what types of video's do you guys like to watch?
Would you guys like to see more hauls, DIY, vlogs or any other types of videos? Maybe even a
Q &A?  Let me know. I'm really interested in your feed back and criticism, which can only result into improvement right? any criticism is good criticism as they say, or did i just make that up?

On the weekend my mum and I had a little mother daughter morning. For a while now, on our way to work we had been eyeing this cafe that had opened in North Perth, but we never really managed to peep into the little cafe on the corner. From outside the big open windows allows you to see into the little cafe. The exposed bricks big, exposed light bulb lighting I knew and a fridge full of yummy baked goods (to bad i am gluten free, sniffles).

So on a gloomy Saturday morning while my dad got called up for work, my mum and I decided to go out for breakfast and see what the fuss is all about.

When we walked in we were instantly greeted by one of the many friendly personnel working that morning. The cafe has a retro kind of London atmosphere to it, with the exposed light bulbs and the quirkiness of the top hat lights. It's very much a simplistic yet retro design mixed.

We were seated and given two menus, now unfortunately for because i'm coeliac they didn't really have much of a gluten free option to eat, however they did have a gluten free alternative for muesli and I ended up with a quinoa muesli fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, it was absolutely delicious. Besides muesli they also have a variety of bagels and toast available.

The menu isn't overly fancy or big, as the cafe specialises and is known for their coffee. Everyone working in that cafe also has to have gone through a barista course.

The food and coffee came out quickly and I do have to say the coffee tasted really delicious and the muesli was really nice and refreshing along side of it.

Before I forget and end my blog post here, for all you girls out there. The cafe only has guys working there and they aren't too sore on the eyes either. Who wouldn't want their breakfast with a good view??

It's been a while, but after much convincing that I needed a wardrobe update (I don't think that really needed much convincing at all) I emptied half my bank account on some fancy new clothes and I couldn't be happier. I don't know if it's just my luck or I snoop around till I am 100% convinced that it's something I would definitely wear, but I never seem to be disappointed with my purchases on ASOS and all the clothes tend to fit like a gem. So I've never had to send anything back (yet. Fingers crossed).

Anyway I thought I'd share with you my joy of my new purchases and made a little haul video for you guys. I hope you enjoy it, and let me know what you guys think!!

pamper day

 A couple of weeks back when I went to Europe I picked up a heap of face masks. I remember from

two years ago seeing the Nivea face masks in a drugstore in Holland and thought I might try them out. Ever since then I was hooked. Unfortunately my skin doesn't really cooperate with moisturisers. As soon as I put on a moisturiser my skin (especially my forehead) breaks out and becomes infected. Does anybody else have that problem?

To keep it hydrated I like to use moisturising face masks. So when I went on holidays back to Holland I bought them in bulk, because unfortunately they don't sell the Nivea face masks in Australia(at least that I know of.)

While having the face mask on I like to relax and drink a cup of tea and put some scented candles on, and maybe have a bit of chocolate. I mean why not, we are allowed to pamper ourselves once in a while! 

While picking up the Nivea face masks I also found these face masks next to them. I have yet to try them out, but by the different scented names on them, i'm sure you couldn't go wrong!

Having coeliac disease (allergic to gluten) its not always easy finding places to go and eat, especially for breakfast which is also my favourite meal of the day. However a couple of weeks back when i stayed at my friend place she searched for some places close by that serve gluten free meals. (You should definitely check out her blog, she does really good reviews of places to go and eat click here for the link.)

After a short drive, we arrived at the restaurant which is located just opposite the beach. The waves were crazy that day because of the stormy weather approaching. It did make a beautiful view from the restaurant! As you walk into the restaurant it gives you really retro kind of vibe. With lots of recycled items reused for decoration and furniture.

When we sat down and were given our menus to look over I was pretty impressed with the amount of gluten free options. Everything besides the pancakes and muesli was gluten free and there were quite a few vegan options available also. It ranged from anywhere from roasted vegetables to eggs and bacon on toast, full on proper breakfast. There was definitely plenty to choose from.

Besides the hasty service, making you feel like you are a little unwanted the food was really delicious and the coffee tasted good.

                                                         Sorry for the shitty phone pictures lately, my camera isn't working properly lately.

A couple of weeks back I went to Europe, god knows why but I didn't really manage to buy that many clothes. Either they didn't fit me right, or once I tried them on it just really didn't suit my height. Never the less, like most girls I am in a drastic need of a new wardrobe, and of course my all time favourite place (website) to shop at is ASOS. 

I browsed through the site and my shopping basket quickly filled up. I'm not one for big spending, and I usually choose about two or three items from my basket, but this time I was like "What the hell, I didn't but much of anything in Europe, might as well treat myself this time."

So a quick purchase later and a couple of days after, my clothes arrived and I am super happy with them. ASOS never failed to disappoint me and their shipping is free and really fast, I couldn't recommend a better online shopping site.
